The lionfish
Invasive species exist in all ecosystems. In the case of the ocean, we can find a creature that has proven to be highly disruptive to the local environment – the lionfish. To put it in a way that everyone can understand, they’re basically the rabbits of the sea.
Lionfish may be among the flashiest-looking fish navigating the undersea reefs because they sport a spectacular display of colors and prominent fins. However, these animals are venomous and can be dangerous to humans. So, try not to get close to them!
