Their eggs can adapt too
Tardigrade eggs are unlike those of most other animals. Rather than being a fixed size and shape, these are highly flexible and can change their shape depending on the environment. This allows the eggs to adapt better to different conditions, like droughts or freezing temperatures.

Some species also lay their eggs in a protective sheath, which provides additional protection from harsh conditions. One of the most interesting features about them is that their eggs can also change shape depending on the environment they are in!
