They don’t have a single pair of wings
Since scientists started studying bees, they’ve been confused. They say that these insects shouldn’t be able to fly because their wings are too small to carry their body mass, but bees couldn’t care less.
For some reason, nature has given bees two complete systems of moving wings. Their tiny yet powerful muscles allow them to rotate and twist during flight, thus making quick, short sweeping movements that create enough lift to enable these little insects to fly. Isn’t it amazing?
