These animals utilize and display their cleverness in different ways in their day-to-day lives. In this post, we’ll discuss five different animals and their intelligence. Let’s dive straight in.

The dolphin has to be on this list as they are one of the most intelligent animals in the world. Their large-sized brains filled with numerous neurons can be said to be one of the major factors contributing to their intelligence.

Due to their cleverness, dolphins are well able to mimic gestures, accurately memorize and remember, figure out situations, demonstrate self-awareness, and communicate quite effectively using language. Dolphins are thought to be second only to humans in terms of intelligence.

African gray parrots

Parrots are well-known as talkatives. The African gray parrot, however, possesses an additional high level of intelligence. They have large brains like many other intelligent animals, and this is thought to be one of the reasons for their intelligence.

Due to their intelligence, these parrots can team up with one another to get food, mimic human speech and sounds excellent, and amazingly perform simple addition and subtraction and count. They are said to be as smart as a four-year-old child.

Wolves are highly intelligent animals. This family of dogs possesses highly developed brains, and the effects of genes can be said to be major factors that influence their intelligence. Their intellects, together with scenting abilities, make them excellent predators.
