Where did they live?
According to paleontologists, dinosaurs existed on all continents. Remember, the continents were arranged together as a single supercontinent called Pangea at the beginning of the dinosaur age (around 230 million years ago) during the Triassic Period. During the million years of dinosaur existence, this supercontinent gradually disintegrated.
Plate tectonics spread its fragments across the globe, resulting in a nearly modern arrangement. But in what kind of environment did dinosaurs live? They lived along ancient rivers or streams, roaming the adjacent forested floodplains, densely vegetated swamps, lakes, or in ancient deserts dotted with sand dunes.
